Youth study

We are living in the last days, the darkest era in human history where many demons are at work. They seek to destroy everyone, and particularly young people are more in their sights. To get out of it, these young people need a lot of teaching but also and above all to be fully filled with the Holy Spirit. It is with this in mind that the study of young people is organized in order to be able to give them a good basis in the Message of the hour outside of the sermons which are preached in each meeting.

“… Do you realize, you old men, that our boys are ten times more tempted than we were when we were young men? Sister, do you realize that your daughter is ten times more tempted than you were when you was a young girl? And her daughter, how tempted will she be? Look at the things, the pictures that the devil paints. Oh, how much do we need to pray! […]” said the prophet William Marrion Branham in the booklet entitled A Blushing Prophet, preached November 25 evening 1956 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, USA, paragraph 33.

Indeed, it is no secret that juvenile delinquency is commonplace today and it is not the young people themselves of their own free will or on their own initiative that they offer us these dreadful spectacles that we see each day. Solomon challenges them in Ecclesiastes 11:9 in these terms:

“Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment », before adding in verse 10 of the same chapter:

“Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity. »

Beyond the objective of giving young people a good basis in the Christian faith, these teachings aim to bring them to become aware of the issues of the moment and know how to possess their bodies in holiness and honesty as recommended by the Apostle Paul in his first epistle to the Thessalonians. And only the Word of God can do that. This is why David says in Psalms 119:9-11

“How will the young man make his path pure ? By going according to your word.

I seek you with all my heart: Do not lead me astray from your commandments!

I treasure your word in my heart, so as not to sin against you. ". The Apostle Paul goes further in his first epistle to Timothy:

“Let no one despise your youth; but be a model for the faithful, in word, in conduct, in charity, in faith, in purity. »

1 Timothy 4:12

Solomon gives like a father advises his beloved son, wise advice to young people in these terms

“Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel,

To know wisdom and instruction, To understand the words of understanding;

To receive lessons in common sense, Justice, equity and righteousness;

To give discernment to the simple, To the young man knowledge and reflection.

Let the wise listen, and he will increase his knowledge, And the intelligent will acquire skill,

To grasp the meaning of a proverb or an enigma, Words of the wise and their sentences.

The fear of the Eternal is the beginning of science; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Listen, my son, to your father's instruction, And do not reject your mother's teaching;

For it is a crown of grace for your head, And an adornment for your neck. »

Proverb 1:1-9

Unfortunately it is also at this moment that Jesus returns. Thus, there must be a difference between these young people "who serve God" and those of the world "who do not serve him" as the Apostle Paul recommends to us in Romans 12: 2

“And conform not to this age; but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is the will of God, good and pleasing and perfect. »
